Brooding

Clouds churn above a darkened expanse of water, in bruised hues of charcoal, indigo, and slate.

I painted this from a photo I took of watching a storm gather above the sea in the evening. The atmosphere was electric and I wanted to capture the excitement and tension in the atmosphere.

I hope that this painting reminds you that in the face of the storm, you will prevail.
